It's a Shore Thing, Plein Air Group Show

Tuesday Painters is a wonderful group of plein air artists that I paint with. As the name implies, we meet up on Tuesdays to paint at different plein air sites around the South Shore. We also arrange for our group to go outside our area to paint. This May I am looking forward to our trip down the Cape to stay at Nauset Beach and paint the area. Hopefully the weather will finally get warmer by then.

We are having a show currently at the Dolphin and Clemens Gallery at the Hingham Public Library. Stop on by to catch some of our artwork of local scenes and say hello.

Opening reception is this Thursday. All info below.

Welcome and Cheers!

As some of you know, I updated my website onto the Faso platform and with that comes a built in blog and a newsletter. I'll start here with the blog and a recent painting from a women's artists group I belong to called Girls Just Wanna Paint. Each month a challenge topic is decided and we create a painting based on that challenge. This past month our challenge was "Taste". So when I was with my son and his wife recently, my daughter-in-law had this luscious looking drink. I could not help but create a painting of it to match the challenge. The colors were splendid and light filled and fun to paint. And according to my daughter-in-law, it was very tasty. So cheers to everyone and thank you for viewing. If you would like to see more, make sure to join my email list on this site. You may also sign up for my newsletters on the site, too, which I am hoping to post my first one very soon.
